An amazing movie; I was expecting a lot from it as it was from the creators of The Professional. I don't really know what to say about it without ruining the plot much so that's it.

8man Raids

So, I just did the 8-man achievements a few nights ago, so I figured I'd shed some light on how to do this, even though it's not hard to figure out.

Setup:
2 tanks
2 healers
4 dps

Class/Spec Reqs:

• You need a replenishment class (Spriest, Surv hunter, or Retadin).
• You need a paladin for wisdom (a holy paladin is awesome for beacon).
• You need two of the dps to be one of the following: moonkin, spriest, ele sham (to tank four horseman) (this is not a requirement for obsidian sanctum)
• Make sure your dps is all 3k+ to make this easy-mode.
• Have a shaman for poison/disease totems.
  

Special Strats:
4H: have the two dps that can heal themselves tank the two mobs in the back of the room
Maexxna: have whoever can do hots put them on the tank...this is hard with 2 healers

Update on stuff

So, my guild situation for the past 2 months was somewhat complicated so I'll spare you the details, but my current guild has full cleared everything except 25man Malygos finally (we raid 3 hours a night, 3 nights a week and had to carry people for a while). Here's some screenshots to recap the last few months.

I became the 3rd tauren on my server to get 50 mounts (this was before patch 3.0.8).


I finally got Anzu and this is what my druid looks like now with 3/5 T7.5.

Addon of the Week 3

I never said the weeks mentioned in the title would be concentric XP
Anyways, the third addon is a dot timer addon made specifically for moonkin and is called SquawkAndAwe.

This addon shows a timer for eclipse, eclipse cooldown, clearcasting, moonfire, faerie fire, and insect swarm.

Moonkin's Naxx Guide P1 + New Raid Spec

I'm feeling a little better so I decided to make a post this week. I know I haven't finished my heroic guides yet, but I decided to start a Naxx guide finally. I'm going to do 1 wing per post. Before I start, I need to talk about talents. The previous spec I had recommended was ok, but for raids, you'll want this spec. It maximizes dps by getting improved insect swarm so you'll have to change your rotation up a bit. I also switched some mana regen talents around to maximize that.

Naxxramas
Spider Wing (Arachnid Quarter)
Anub'Rekhan

• If you're ranged, stay in the center of the room.
• If you're melee, run to the center when the boss does locust swarm.
• Kill the adds if they're up. If not, kill the boss.
• When a mob dies, a group of scarabs rises from its corpse which should be aoe'd down.

Faerlina

• 10man: When the boss enrages, kill an add next to it to dispel it.
• 25man: Kill the boss and ignore the adds.

Maexxna

• If someone gets put on the wall, kill the egg sac to free them.
• Kill adds if they're up.
• Kill the boss if there are no adds.

Addon of the Week 2

I'm sick with the flu and don't feel like doing much this week, so this is probably going to be it. I'm tired so I'll get to the point. This is the addon of week #2.

Aloft

It's a nameplate addon. It gives information that the default nameplates do not such as level, hp %, class, guild, mana (you can have all, some, or none of these features on yours.
